I just have to say Brielle has the most beautiful lips I've ever seen on a newborn! Her eyelashes go on for days and she is snuggly and sweet as can be! I had a great time getting to know Mom and Dad during her session and can't wait to spend the next year photographing this little beauty!
Jacob was an absolute joy to photograph! He was so calm and cozy and is such a gorgeous little man! He was tolerant of my posing, gave great eye contact when he was awake and took a little snooze so we could get some good sleepy shots too! I sure hope to see more of this little guy and his family!
The cheeks, the eyes, the dimples, the rolls... OH. MY. GOODNESS! Beau is such a sweet, happy, ADORABLE little man! I could have hung around with him all day! I edited his session with a big smile on my face because each image made me giggle a little :) So stinkin' CUTE! Hard to believe he was a 5 pound little guy when I first met him!!
The head in hands pose is a very popular one among moms, and rightfully so... It's adorable! One important thing to know about this pose, is it is a composite meaning it is part of two images to create the illusion that Baby is holding his her head like so. I know some new photographers aren't aware of this, so making this known is VERY important to keep these beautiful babies safe! There are some photographers who have a method of creating a wedge to support Baby, but this is not something I'm familiar with and would strongly discourage attempting if you haven't been properly trained by an experienced newborn photographer. This pose takes practice, patience and editing skills to achieve so be prepared to work before you master the editing techniques! I hope you enjoy this tutorial! Please share to help spread the word about newborn safety! The example I used in this tutorial was actually part of a twin head in hands shot. To produce an image like the one before you can either have two assistants and position both babies as shown in the video or you can photograph each baby individually. In this case, we tried for a while to get Kash and Sawyer positioned together, but one baby would wake up as soon as we got the other positioned, so we took this route :) I put Kash's images together and put Sawyer's images together then added them together using the same technique. Thank you to all my wonderful vendors!

My Bundle babies always change quite a bit from session to session, but I think this was the biggest transformation I've seen! He was still such a "baby" baby when I saw him at his 6 Month Session, but he looks like a little boy now! He's just so sweet and handsome.. And those eyes?! Forget about it!
Another Bundle graduate! Mr. Reis has officially one! He LOVED his cake! I think he is a close second for best cake smasher I've seen :) Happy birthday, Little Man!
As if my baby fever hasn't been bad enough lately... Wow! Cael was such a cooperative, sweet little man. He was good and chubby and loved snoozing and cuddling :) Cael spent 9 days in the NICU due to some complications, but he is home and doing so well now! I had a great time getting to know Mom, Dad and Big Sisters and I'm already looking forward to seeing this little man for a Family Session in a few months!
This sweet baby girl is too adorable for words! This was my first time meeting Lilly and she did such a great job during her session! She gave me smiles and sweet, curious looks during the first outfit and dug right into that cake when it came time! Mom and Dad were great.. You can really tell how much Miss Lilly is loved!
These two...! I had a blast with them!! Abigail couldn't wait to show me her pet hamster, Mrs. White and Emmersyn thought it was fun to make a game out of Mom and me chasing her around the house :) Em was actually the perfect example of a child doing a thousand times better during a session when Mom leaves the room! When Mom was near, she wanted no part of standing anywhere near the backdrops, but once I asked Mom to step out to see how that went, she was a cooperative angel! You know when you walk in the door to pick your kids up from a babysitter or relative, your kids are bouncing off the walls and the sitter says something like, " Wow! He was so well behaved before you got here...?" That's exactly how kiddos are for photos (especially between the ages of 2 and 4)! Something about Mom and/or Dad being in the room makes the kids go bonkers!
I really did have a great time with these girls... They definitely gave me some good laughs! Kieran is full of smiles and curiosity! I can't believe it's already been 9 months since I watched this sweet little ginger enter the world! :) He did a great job during his session and big sister was a wonderful assistant, as usual! I just love the Ware kiddos!
